After 13 hours, i've finally finished my rendition of Michelangelo's "The Creaton of Adam".
i call it "The Creation of Atom"
11"x14" acrylic on recycled canvas. Wooden frame to secure the canvas in the back. The first photo is in daylight; it includes color shifting paint, glitter chunks, metallic gold paint, and acrylic pearl accents.
The second photo is under UV/blacklight. The stars come out, you can see "Atom" turn skeletal, the touch of the beings glow, the being becomes a glowing entity, and the aliens become only eyes.
Can you spot the spaceship as well? It's visible in both daylight and UV
The edges are painted with metallic gold as well to pull together that classic look and feel.
